Chung Do Kwan Receive Clubmark Award

Chung Do Kwan Taekwondo Club have been accredited with Sport NI’s Clubmark award.  The award is given to clubs across Northern Ireland who demonstrate high standards in the management of their club and provide quality coaching in a safe environment for their members.

This means the parents and guardians can be confident that their child is attending a quality club that provides positive and progressive sports opportunities in safe environments.

Sport Northern Ireland work with a range of governing bodies of sport and Local Authorities to deliver this accreditation programme which aims to identify, develop, accredit and recognise high quality junior sports clubs and the contribution that they make to the development of sport in Northern Ireland.

Sports clubs play an essential and significant role in the development of sport, providing outlets for participation while also maintaining quality environments for talented young athletes to develop. The competitive opportunities offered by clubs are yet another key opportunity for participation and development.
